TTabulens PTES Windows Open app

Terms of Use and License

These terms apply to the Tabulens web app on tabulens.com and to the Tabulens program for Windows downloaded from this site (together, the “Software”).

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Who provides the Software

The Software is provided by the developer of Tabulens. Questions about these terms: the request form on the Pro page.

The free edition

You may use the free edition at no charge, without registration, for any purpose — personal, educational or in your work, including in a company. The free edition has limits on export, printing, open tabs, batch conversion, SQL results and pivot tables; the current limits are listed on the Pro page. We may change the limits of the free edition in future versions.

The Pro license

Payment and refunds

After a request through the form we send the payment details by email; once payment is received, we send the key. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another country that grants a right of withdrawal, that right applies under the conditions of your law. Independently of that, if Pro does not work for you as described, write to us within 14 days of payment and we will refund the payment.

What is not allowed

Unless the law expressly allows it, or we agree in writing, you may not:

You may share links to the site and the Windows program freely.

Your data

Your files are processed on your device and are not sent to us. What the site and the program do process is described in the Privacy Policy.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to read and write every format correctly, but the Software is provided “as is”. File formats have many dialects, and we cannot guarantee that every file will be read or saved without changes. Before editing important files, keep a copy.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of the Software, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent and gross negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers.

Third-party components

The Software includes open-source components (among them SQLite, which is in the public domain). Their licenses continue to apply to those components.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its date. Changes do not take away rights you have already acquired with a Pro license.
