Open Parquet Online
A .parquet file is an export from Spark, pandas, DuckDB or a cloud warehouse. It opens by drag and drop, like any table: no Python, no Spark and no upload to a server.
Free for personal use. Drop a .parquet on the window. Viewing only: it cannot be saved back to Parquet, export to CSV or Excel instead. Windows version — 3.7 MB, no installation: details. Organizations: license.
All the common compression
Snappy, Gzip, LZ4, Zstandard and none — the reader is our own, with no dependencies.
Types are kept
Dates and times, decimals, integers and floats, booleans. Lists show as “a, b”, structs are flattened into columns.
Big files fast
Columns are read on demand: the file opens quickly and work happens on the columns on screen.
Like every other format
Filters, sorting, statistics, pivot tables, charts and export are the same as for DBF and CSV.
